About me

๐Ÿ” Passionate about data-driven methodologies, I'm dedicated to explore how to learn from raw data. I believe that if humans can learn from real-world examples so can computers.
๐Ÿ”ฌ Recently, I started as a research engineer at LIST, where I'm investigating low-modeling. This field aims to automate the creation of software engineering models, speeding-up the modeling process.
๐ŸŽ“ In my doctoral journey at the University of Luxembourg, I investigated the usage of Deep Learning models within Online Learning pipelines. This PhD resulted in the creation of TensAIRโ€”an innovative system capable of training Artificial Neural Network models in real-time using data streams. This project involved technical and theoretical exploration, including non-convex optimization, asynchronous and decentralized computing, statistics, and visualization techniques.
๐ŸŽ“ During my Master's studies at UNICAMP, I focused on Complex Networks, NLP, and Knowledge Graphs. Notably, I developed ScikGraph, an application empowering researchers to unravel scientific fields through intuitive Knowledge Graph visualizations. With ScikGraph, users can automatically construct comprehensive knowledge graphs and track the evolution of scientific domains over time.

Teaching

As a teacher assistant, I have had the privilege of contributing to the academic development of students from Bachelor's and Master's courses across different academic institutions. My experience includes:

  • Teacher Assistant - Information Management 2 (Summer 2021-22-23-24) - UNILU's Bachelor in Computer Science
  • Teacher Assistant - NoSQL & Cloud Computing (Winter 2021) - UNILU's Master of Data Science
  • Teacher Assistant - Information Management 3 (Winter 2020) - UNILU's Bachelor in Computer Science
  • Teacher Assistant - Human-Computer Interaction (Winter 2019) - UNICAMP's Bachelor in Computer Science
  • Teacher Assistant - Algorithms and Computer Programming (Summer 2019) - UNICAMP's Bachelor
  • Teacher Assistant - Data Structure (Winter 2014) - FEI's Bachelor in Computer Science
Furthermore, I also had the honor to supervise students during internships and on Bachelor Semester Projects.
